What counts as a connected system?
One provider connected to one organisation — e.g. your Xero org is one system, your Cin7 Core account is another, a carrier account is a third. Your plan includes a number of systems (Simple 3, Standard 5, Premium 5 with no cap); additional systems are $95/mo each on any plan.
How fresh is the data on each plan?
Every screen shows its own sync timestamp, so you always know. Simple refreshes from your systems every 3 hours through the business day — right for a morning-truth habit. Standard refreshes every 30 minutes through the business day, so the order book and cashflow move with you. Premium runs every 10 minutes and extends into the evening, adds the freight and container feeds, and includes on-demand "Sync now" for the moments you can't wait.
Do you really mean unlimited users?
Yes. Waypoint works when everyone starts their day on it — the owner, the reps, the warehouse, the accounts desk, your external accountant. Charging per seat would defeat the whole point.
Where does our data live?
In a dedicated database provisioned just for you, in Microsoft's New Zealand North region. No shared database, no offshore replication.
How does write-back work? Is this two-way sync?
No — and that's deliberate. Two-way sync is how data gets corrupted. When you act in Waypoint, it sends a command to the system that owns that record (e.g. Xero for a bill), waits for that system to confirm, and only then updates what you see. Every command is logged. If the source system rejects it, you see exactly why.
What happens when we cancel?
Nothing scary. Your systems were the source of truth the whole time, so there's nothing to migrate off. We hand you an export of anything you created in Waypoint — notes, budgets, cashflow settings — and delete your database.
Are these prices final?
Yes — these are the launch prices, in NZD excluding GST, and founding customers lock in the price they join on.
